rust and por15 question
my car has a bunch of small rust bubbles on the body panels, a rust spot about 3"x3" on the rear quarter panel, and a 2"x2" hole rusted through into the spare tire compartment. most of this will be hidden by the gfx that i'm putting on, but i still want to fix them. what's the best way to sand/grind the rust spots down? for the hole, what's the easiest way to fill it in(welding in new sheet metal is not an option). i'm going to put some por 15 on the rust spots before i get the car repainted. which por 15 formula should i get, black, silver, or clear? will a pint be enough?

I posted about a week ago with a similar problem. The answer I got was to use the POR 15 floorboard repair kit. It cost $120. I'm going to coat the rest of my underbody with it too, to prevent any more damage. I have the same rusthole in the same places you do. The website is http://www.por15.com Not sure if you knew it or not.
