Rear Cargo Shade Tightening

Rear Cargo Shade Tightening

Can the rear cargo shade be tightened?? It has lost its tension over the years and my subs make it rattle becase its not tight over the box. TIA

I have no idea how to do it, but I imagine the spring inside might be replaceable or repairable.

Yes, it is adjustable. I had to do it to mine. I will get my manual and post a reply with the steps.

Sorry, for the delay but I'm on the road 4-5 days a week. I can't find the text to explain how to do this. But if I remember right, when you take the cover out of it's brackets on one end the flat end turns to tighten the return spring. I think this is done with the cover coiled up. Sorry it's so vague. Good luck.
