I had a dual 2" gauge pod on one car. It had a K&N air:fuel gauge and a fuel pressure gauge. Pretty easy install. The only pain is just running wires up & down the pillar, but it's really no big deal.

Well, to me the pain wasn't running the wires up the pillar; it was the plastic clips breaking.

Bingo on the clips breaking! This is a problem on coupes. Easier installation on t-top & 'verts. I broke all three of the funky clips that attach the stock a-pillar trim at the roof. Anyone know where to get these? The "HELP" section of Pep Boys was no help. I wound up using double sided foam tape, but not happy with the results.

Yup, real easy. The gauges were a compression fit on my Lotek pod.

lonsal: They're PN#: 20462090 at a dealership, but I haven't gone to one to ask about them yet, so I don't know if any dealers actually carry them. GMPartsdirect.com has them at $6.10 for 10, but their shipping is almost $10! The closest I could find at local auto parts stores was a large Christmas tree style, and they work fine, but if you ever pull them back out, you gotta get new ones.

How does the double gauge pod mount on the a-pillar? is it double sided tape, do you have to drill any holes? I just decided to do it to my vert, but I don't want to do anything else to the car that irreversible. And I don't think finding another a-pillar piece for the vert will be easy. Maybe it is the same as t-tops, but still would prefer to not drill holes.

It can be mounted with double sided tape. Current kits from Auto Meter include small black push-in inserts to hold them. To use these you will need to drill holes. You have to drill some holes to run the wires for the gages through anyway. So the process isn't reversible. Never fear, the A-pillar trim piece from a t-top or hardtop coupes will are plantiful and work for the 'vert. You just have to trim the hardtop ones to match your old one. I leave an extra loop of the gage wires for each gage behind the a-pillar trim so I can remove it to change the bulb. Good luck, Lon.

The plastic clips for holding the door molding on coupes are availble from GM in packs of 10. After figuring in GMpartsdirect prices, you'd be further ahead to get em from a dealer.
