Thinking of getting 4th gen wheels...Spacers?

If your car came stock with the 16x8 wheels, would you need different spacers for say the salad shooter 4th gen wheels? As long as they are 16x8 wheels, they should fit just fine right?

yeah you'll need spacers for any 4th gen wheels. i'm not sure what size you need, but i'm pretty sure that all the different styles4th gen wheels would require the same size spacers.

the spacers you would need are like 2 1/4" all the way around. I'm doing the same thing as you(getting some 4th gen wheels). Although I am looking into getting a drum brake rear end off of a 4th gen, killing 2 birds with one stone(no spacers needed and newer/higher rear gears). i'm looking around to see where i can get a rear end cheap so far it's about 2 bills.

2-1/4 for the front and 1-3/4 for the rear is what you are supposed to use.
I used 2-1/4 all the way around, so I could sell me rear set to someone when I get my 4th gen rear bolted on,

technically what you need for an exact factory look is 2.15" front spacers, and 1.5" rear spacers. I'm running 2" all around, and it's working great. The fronts have no clearance problems, and the backs look mean sticking out a hair (as do Zepher's)

ok, not may car is lowered 2", would the 2" spacers work for me or whould I go for the 2.25. Is there anyway to make these in a machine shop? Then I could get the 2.15 and get them cheaper.
