hood blisters on a flat hood

Is it possible to put the hood blisters on a flat hood, or do you need one that already has the louvers so that you know where to place them?

The hoods with blisters are the same hoods as IROC hoods. Without the indents they mount in, it looks trashy.

there was a post about it, but the ones someone posted that would fit the flat hoods, they looked like really cheap immitations.

They were cheap imitations made for trucks. They are a lot shorter and not as wide as the stock ones.

While I was trying to piece together a '91 Z28 styling, I came across some loose hood blisters. The guy wanted $125 for both, and they were in good shape. The reason I bought them was because it looked loke they bolted onto the bare RS style hood, because edges tappered into the base. I imagined it would only require aligninging them with measurements from an original blister hood, them marking the holes to drill. I had plans to do this to a stock fiberglass '83 hood, which would require a little rework anyway. Then I bought a '91... 'cause the parts were too expensive in pieces.
