T-tops on a none T-top car but....

I've seen some posts lately asking if its possible to put t-tops on a car that didn't have them before and everyone said not to do it because the roof is basicly what holds the car together. I was wondering if those who said that would change their anwser if they new the car had sub-frame connectors?

I would still rather just buy a t-top car. It would be a hassle and pretty expensive to add t-tops.

I hate those damn leaky t-tops. I would never buy another t-top car again, unless it was a 2002 collectors edition.

I would ask the people who sell the sub frame connecters. If anybody they would know. Lets say some one get them, and thire t-tops start leaking. Who if the first person they call. THE OEM of the sub frame connectors of the people who put in the t tops. If you ask the people who install the T tops they will most likly only have good things to say about thire product. If you ask the people who install or sell the SFC they might give you straight answer.

My car is an '87 and when I had the car repainted they even got into the weatherstrippng to get all the older rust out and repaint (after the previous owner put on new weatherstripping) and it has yet to leak

altho my damn door windows are pissing me off :-)
