front license plate holder on z-28 grill

i just mounted my new front plate on the dash and i now need to pull the license plate bracket off in the front to expose just the grill. right now its lookin a little ghetto from the front, and i eventually would like to convert it to the iroc grill with the two fog lights. can anyone tell me how to remove the license plate bracket? thanks
