Areally dumb question (away from car at the moment)

I have an 88 GTA, the door panels are not flat like the earlier T/A's, they are moulded with integrated arm rests.
The question is, does anyone know whether reproduction flat door panels with standard armrests will fit? I am looking at the ones offered by thirdgenresource, and hawks.

Cheers foor looking

Richard

yes & no, the molded panels & flat panels are interchangable, BUT you will need to change the brackets that the armest bolts to.

Obviously, the current door panels arent in the greatest of condition, but I might just let them go. Again, I am away from the car until christmas, so do the handle brackets rivet / screw etc to the existing door frame. Or would I have to modify the door frame. Was it just for appearance that theu used a contoured as opposed to flat panel in the GTA's?
The interior of the car is camel (I think), tan, and I have just bought sandalwood carpets for it to go with the leather 96 seats I have. To that end, I either have to paint / recover the existing doors, or buy new repro units from Hawk, or thirdgenresource.

Cheers

I'm surprised nobody's told him to stay away from thirdgenresource. Or have they improved?

If the only problem with your door panels is they need new cloth, take them to a upholster' & get them re-covered, they should be able to do your pocket & everything.

If they were black I would have been interested.
