take out the front emblem.....get those screws out....take out the screws underneath the car and in the door sill area

now....you have to remove the bottom rear peice behind your front seats to get at the last bolt.....it is right below your sail panels

If the damage isn't too great you can use flexible filler and a piece of screen. I put a layer of filler (very thin) and inbedded the screen. Then, add another coat on top. You can use glazing putty to smooth it up if sanding doesn't do the trick. Flexible body filler can be found at a auto paint store.

tools required to remove the rocker extensions are a phillips screwdriver, ratchet, 10mm socket, 13mm socket. when i did this, it took me like 2 hours to take them off, but that was because the car was on the ground with no wheels, and i had no idea that there were screws behind the emblem and a nut that you had to get from the interior. i would say it would take me like 15 minutes now that i know how to do it.

How do you take out the emblem just pry it out? I thought that was adhesive backed? how do you reinstall it? 3m tape?

As I recall, there are only 3 speed nuts holding the rocker gfx on beside the screws in the door sill area. Two are on the fender, which can be reached if the inner fender is removed, and the third nut can be removed said before underneath the sail panel, or if your flexible, by reaching through the black air vent in the door jam area.
