They use 30 or 50 watt H3 foglight bulbs. Same bulbs as most of the aftermarket foglights. I put Sylvania 100watt bulbs ($12/ea if I remember correctly) in the fogs on my 91 V6. Brightened them up enough you can actually tell when they're on or off. Haven't had any problems with them that werent related to the junk housings GM used. Just be sure not to touch the bulb with your bare fingers. Wear a rubber glove or only touch the metal base.

On my '86 T/A, the lenses had cracked from road thrown rocks. The dealers wanted $86 bones each and I couldn't find any parts in the junkyards. I happened to be in Wallyworld (WAL-MART) a few days later and found an exact match for $17 a set. They are marketed under the "BLAZER" line, but they are made by Federal Mogul. They install great and only a grounding line has to be slightly modified from the original. It only took about an hour to install them and they look stock, but have a clearer lens on them. You can also use the Diamond Vision ones from your local Schucks/Kragen/Checker stores and Autozone has them also, but for about $75 - $80 a set. I also use the H4/100 watt bulbs. I don't even use my headlights when driving anymore. I have the Clear Blue lights marketed by Sylvania (CB4506?'s)at about $17 each.
