ok about a year ago i stripped my 85 audi power window switches, whitch are flush for a cleaner luxury look plus light up as of yesturday i installed them in my 91 bird and they look great in the car, and wasnt nearly as difficult as i imagined, i will post some pics when i get some of the switches. so for anyone who is thinking of this swap the for the thirdgen, the pink is the main power wire, and black is the ground, for drivers side, the "up" wire is dark blue, and "down" wire is brown. for passenger side, same applies for hot and ground, but the "up" wire is blue with a white stripe, and "down" is tan, the switches hook up same as stockwith 4 wires but have a red led light thats wired into the hot wire, so whenever the ign is on they light red, but you only notice it at night
