150 MPH White Face overlay speedo

I'm in the process of updating my guide and adding a bucket load of more templates for v6 and 91-92 gauge clusters, and firebird gauges. Anywayz, here is my 150mph idea, based off the 145mph speedo, it will fit right up.

already got all the speedo ones for Firebirds done...

go to http://www.3rdgenformula.com half way down the main menu page on the left look for modifying your formula, & in there there are white face gages. I have all the pix there.

I just noticed that you're CD's are the same size as the speedo. So why not print on CD label paper and just stick it on the tach and speedo?? Super simple and easy huh?

that's kinda what i did. i printed out my gauges on photo quality glossy paper. then i used a glue stick and glued the glossy paper to a sheet of the cd labels paper. that way, i could cut the gauges out, peel off the back, and just stick them onto the gauges when i was ready. imo, this made the installation so much easier.

Yes, the light shines very well through the paper, I actually used construction paper & it is about perfect.

If you have a 6K then your stuck, use the 6 K tach. If you find an 8K tach in a junkyard out of a v8 car then you can use that one, you can't use a v6 tach and get the right reading...
