I may be wrong but I think it was a 1988 only thing . I had to hunt to find them for my 1991 RS . it's sort of iroc/z clone and I wanted them when I had it re-painted . they came in silver & gold colors . they are not easy to find . good luck .

There Was No RS In 1988,Only Sport Coupe And IROC-Z,This Is What The Sport Coupe Looked Like In 1988.
Re: Weird emblems off 88 camaro rs
There was an RS is '88, but it was in experimental markets only. The 1989 RS was tested in California and Florida markets starting in 1987 as V6 only cars and restricted to only three colors. It wasn't available in all 50 states. The only non IROC-Z available in 1988 to all 50 states was the Sport Coupe pictured above. They had two options for the rear spoiler, so if you have the regular 3-piece spoiler, then you have a later build '88.
