91-92 gta wrap around spoiler
Has anyone bought the 91-92 wrap around spoiler that hawks and a few others sell? Is it solid fiberglass or hollow like the original. I am having issues with mine I am not sure I can fix and may need to get one of these aftermarkets. Thanks

Almost anything should be fixable on your 91-92 wing. Most of it is PE compression molded fiberglass, almost infinitely repairable. The problem area is the deck mounting points as GM really went cheap on this and used molded plastic inserts in the deck area where the mounting bolts are. This material is harder to fix, but not impossible.
Post up some pics of the problem and we can tell you how to fix it, almost certainly easier than getting a new one that will prob also needs some finish work.

Re: 91-92 gta wrap around spoiler
Well one problem for starters was when I got the wing a few years back the top and bottom were separated. I glued them back together with I think was panel bond. Then mistake I did though was not bolt it to the hatch before I glued them together because the left part doesn't sit flush with the hatch and the right one does. On the top right above where the nuts inside are broke in a few pieces and I glued them back where they belong. I v-notched all the pieces and used SEM plastic repair to fix it but must have done something wrong because it cracked. I heard the 3m plastic repair is better or maybe I didn't do something right. One of the nuts spins again inside the wing so I am unsure if I would be able to remove it. I would really like to fix this one before having to spend all that money. Is is all in one piece just has some stuff to be repaired on it
