faded t-top edge
Im thinking about replacing the t-top drip seals on my '85 camaro and i also wanted to address the t-top edge that is faded (all camaros it seems like). I searched but couldnt find anything. Im thinking a black spray paint and a clear coat. Does anyone have ideas/suggestions or experience re-doing these?

I just went over mine with some steel wool, cleaned them good, masked off the glass and spray painted them. Has stood up well.

I was thinking of using vinyl wrap in matte black to give hem the original look. Just an idea.

Re: faded t-top edge
Do it the easy way - plastidip. Should have a nice flat black appearance and protect the metal underneath just fine. I've had it on my hood for over a yea,r the stuff will ever so slightly fade over years, but it's super easy to just spray a new topcoat of the stuff on and it's good as new. Removable later if you get an oppurtunity to really paint it. I've heard of guys, for example, plastidipping hatch glass trim.
