so i went into repairing a rust area ive noticed coming out on my A-pillar of my 87 t/a t-top. There were a few bubbles coming through the paint in the area of the center of the a-pillar. pulled the windshield today (it was cracked) and took a better look at the rust area and i'm being left not very optimistic. the rust is in about a 1 to 1 1/2 foot long area in the center of the a-pillar and there is not much metal left. i tried calling my local auto parts place for any rust repair panels which they said it doesnt exist. i'm looking for any way to repair this area. need help cuz i'm trying to get this project done sooner than later. any help is greatly appreciated!

Not going to find a replacement for that except from a donor car. Grab your Sawzall and find a junkyard with a third gen. You might be able to use a piece of sheet metal if you can bend it .
i'm not good enough at fabricating to do it out of a blank piece of sheet metal. i'll have to see about if my nearby junkyard has any thirdgens i can steal the a-pillar from.
thanks
