I think that's the mecham (sp.?) wing. Special aftermarket racing part. a few people on the forum have them, mostly on firebirds.

Wings west also made a version very similar.

Re: I like the looks of this spoiler
I'm pretty sure the first one is the meecham. The wings west is similar, and slightly better looking IMO. The meecham was actually designed for racing so it has some pitch in the wing to create downforce. The wings west is just a fiat wing that prob doesn't create much downforce , but would be much more aerodynamic.

I don't think Wings West is still making that spoiler. I just checked and they don't even list our cars on their site.

Actually, they do have it listed for third gen Camaro. You're right that they removed third gen firebird completely. Reason enough right there for me not to buy from them. But it is a good looking wing on 86ta. I think he said that he took it off and went with something else. Maybe pm him and get some details, he is still active on the forum.

Re: I like the looks of this spoiler
Hawks has a Mecham spoiler IIRC. I like this style. It's like a more aggressive aero spoiler. I'd even bet most non-3rd genners would think it's stock.

Googled 3rd gen Mecham spoiler - Brought me back to home base!
