Flushmount light swap on my 84 t/a

Decided to finally do this after having the parts sitting around for over a year. Still need to do some fine tweaking, mostly adjusting the headlight housing assembly. This swap fits much better on 82-84 cars due to the boxy headlight bezels in the corners. I am also making up a prototype for a clear looking light setup rather then the blue.

Was going to nightshade these but now I am thinking they go well with the blue decals on the car.

Dusty pics (just pulled this thing out of storage)

The car looks great and it does go well with the blue trim, but do they actually work as headlights? They certainly aren't inspectable.

They are about as bright as the stock headlights. Even better with HIDs installed. As for inspection im not sure. The mod can be reversed with an extra set of headlight assemblies to pass an inspection if necessary.

I can tell you for sure they don't pass inspection, but few people seem to care about that, including many inspectors unfortunately.
I'd be less concerned with the brightness vs the beam pattern. Seems like you would have a very limited field of view. How about some night pics?

I will have to get some. I'll get some good pics once I detail the car for the first time this year. This is the second T/A I have done this swap on. These are driving lights and I found them better at night then the factory set up on my last car.

The original creator of this mod user "Redraif" I believe, may be able to chime in on the swap.
