Does any company make a new metal trim for the back window? Trying to take mine off to get it powder coated. The sides come off easy but it seems stuck around the area where the hindges are. I tried a flat head and a hammer gave a couple taps and its just messing the trim up. Was also thinking of just ripping the whole trim off and leaving it like that. Anybody ever just removed the trim and left it like that?

 

Instead of removing, how about refurbing?
