New Door Latches?
What are you guys doing on restos for new door latches? I just put hawks stainless steel strikers in and I would hate to run my old latches! Any ideas?? Thanks
Re: New Door Latches?
I'm sure someone sells regular oem and stainless latches and bolts. but theres usually no reason to replace a latch ,I usually wash them in the parts cleaner and grease them up and there good to go I just run new strikers from the local parts store. what about Ricks camaro. or Year one

Yea mine are pretty worn from the hinges wearing and door drooping. Plus the plastic coating is worn off..not a lot of vendors for latches!

Re: New Door Latches?
82-87, 88-89, 90-92 are the compatable years for door latches. I am not really sure what makes them different but the part numbers match for these year groups. I believe it is just the clips for the rods that are different but don't hold me to that.
