what is this part?
I have a 91 z28 convertible and i'm pretty sure this came out of my power trunk motor. when I replaced the motor this piece was left over and I don't know where it goes
. it might even be for the button to release my top but i'm stumped.

It was apparently added during the conversion, to keep the trunk from opening while the tonneau was open. Here is a thread, where I asked about it
