New body or Just repair??? or cut losses
Well here is my jam , im 22 years old love my 84 trans am to death, bought her a few years back off of kijji ,and had a mechanic check it out and all that jazz, but what they failed to mention and I am just recently finding out is that the front left sub frame and front left floor panel is rusted out .... much to my dismay I found this out when I went to get my brakes fixed because I rode them down so much the calipers are were shot as well so basically im looking for some advice on weather to keep it and take It to a shop for a quote or just salvage the parts that I have put into it and find a new donor car . I have put a fair amount of work into her and found some bought some awesome red and black leather seats and just got some louvers shipped in from the states , and it just kills me to let the car just go though I could find a new donor that would be fine as well . I live in Kitchener , Ontario , Canada . any help would be greatly appreciated Ty josh
also if you could recommend a good body shop that would be awesome

Calipers are cheap if you can manage to do it yourself. You can do a full front brake job for $80 pluss your time. A little body rust ain't never hurt noone. Lol. Just take some patch pannels for the subframe.

thanks for the suggestion , yeah I was going to do brakes my self but the rust is more extensive then just patching at this point I think, or at least a self patch job , the mechanic who put it up on the hoist was very careful because if he put it where there was rust he said it would have gone right through the floor , and im worried about damaging my tranny as well so...

That sounds like structural rust damage, not a simple patch job. However, anything that can be welded can be repaired. So there is hope.
