having troubles converting from z28 to iroc
hey i have been slowly restoring my camaro, just epoxy primered the whole car from bare metal. i bought an 88 iroc bodykit for the car as i thought it looks way better then the 83 z28. when i put on the rear bumpercover, the side panels that mount on the rear quarter panels dont line up with the bumper. do i have to redrill the holes for that part? the bumper lines up perfectly with the bodies lines but the side panels dont match with the bumper. anyone have this same problem? if so could you shed some light one me, thanks

Re: having troubles converting from z28 to iroc
I think the 85-90 IROC panels are larger than the 82-84 Z28 panels. The mounting holes are probably different and like you stated they need to be re drilled. Sounds like a lot of panels need to be switched out. The whole front bumper is different on the 82-84 Z28 than the 85-90 bumper. Good luck with your project. Im sure it will look great when you're done.
