Nose Piece

Howdy, new here, first post.

I'm in the market for a f body and have noticed a lot have distorted nose pieces obviously from sun exposure.

Has anyone been able to straighten out these dips and hills that occur in the plastic nose? Do people even try to fix them or just replace?

Rick

Re: Nose Piece

Hi Rick, Welcome to the forum. Some people have used a heat gun and ice to get the dips out, pretty typical for 30 year old ureathane. Try searching some of the threads on the forum. Most everything you need has been done here already!

Thanks, that's about the way I figured would be best to straighten out the warped plastic. It's ashamed they started making cars with that crap on them. They warp, crack and won't hold paint very well.

Good job Joe, looks great !!!
