I took this car in in trade and don't really know what I'm going to to do with yet. I'm looking for suggestions on a hood and air cleaner/intake set up. I don't care if its a cowl, ram air, SS. Just something that is functional and looks good. Its a high rise intake and Holley 750 carb. I'd like to keep it as low as possible. Not a huge fan of the huge cowls.

 

That car has been completely hilbillified! Jeez! Unless you plan to change the intake, i'd say your stuck with the cowl hood option.

 

Does that cleaner have a flat base on it? If so put a drop base on if for sure, that plus a 2" cowl induction hood and you're good to go.

I have a high rise with a holley 750 dp, 14x3 drop base air cleaner under a 2" Goodmark cowl induction hood. Fits great and functions great.
