Anyone find an inexpensive jack to use with Steck EZ-Rest Door Hanger?
I need to do the hinge bushings on my Camaro and I bought the EZ-Rest Door Hanger and the instructions look like my teacher photocopied a photocopy of a photocopy from 5th grade and its almost impossible to read. It says to use a jack with a removable saddle.
Has anyone actually used this tool with a jack? I been looking at trolley jacks to see if I could find a cheapie one to use and its hard to tell which ones are removable. I searched and searched for info but there is remarkably very little information about anyone actually using this tool compared to other Steck products.
I went to pickup some parts from Advance Auto and the parts guy showed me a $110 1.5 ton jack that had a hex screw bolt in the middle, and I really don't want to pay that much money for a jack I am only going to use one time.
