Will I run into any issues trying to use '87 or 88' Camaro body parts on my '92 RS?

I fellow I work with is parting out his car. It's either an 87 or or 88... I don't remember. As far as I know it's just the base model v8 and 5 speed. The only body parts I really need off his car is the front bumper cover assembly (including the ground effects) and the little trim pieces (ground effects?) that go along the bottom of the doors.

I haven't seen his car in a while so I don't quite recall how similar his and mine are.

The only fitment issue you'll have is that the 91-92 chin spoiler clips in a vertical slit in the fenders while the earlier (85-90) chin spoilers bolt on in 3 holes. If you are changing the ground effects I would change all or none. The 91-92 and 85-90 are two different styles and would look better all together rather than mixed and matched.

Would you happen to know if the 91-92 chin spoiler will fit on the older bumper? Would I have any problems trying to go that route?

The 91-92 chin spoiler will bolt right to the bumper cover. The only difference is the fender mounting everything else is the same.

Awesome. Thank you.
Do you know if I'd be able to use the plastic trim at the bottom of the doors?
