just picked up a hood off a 92 the weird part is it looks like there could of been louvers in it but no drilled holes it has 2 little plastic covers where the louvers would go any one else seen a hood like this it looks cool but not sure what year or who makes it

 

sounds like a 83-84 z28 hood to me

It sounds like you're describing the hood blisters on the 92 hood. Of course, really depends on your definition of "little plastic covers"

Do the flaps open? Looks like a 1984 Z28 hood from GM. This was before they put louvers there.

 

The flaps don't move but they can be removed I was thinking of some kinda billet inserts or something I may just paint them black looks good for an 84

 

I have 90 iroc, and need a hood, found an 85, I have seen in sale ads all hoods 81-91 are interchangeble, but read somewhere in the past the 88-91 fit more cleanly at the nose

 

My front bumper is off an 86 z28 with a 91 chin spoiler I think it will fit np waiting for a few friends to come over and help me put it on
