I have a 88 gun metal gray iroc but the graphic strips on the bottom don't

seem to match any i have seen wondering if anyone can help.

Could have easily been replaced, I remember back 28 years ago that the body shop I used would have a guy come in & apply the stripes if I didn't request they use GM ones.

 

I have an all original Gun metal gray 88 IROC, purchased the car in 1991, I have aqua blue and black stripes on the bottom of the car. The stripe colors are factory original, just hard to find. I've only seen this stripe color combination on a few cars in the past 20 years, Black and gray stripes are more common.

Keep the gun metal color, IMHO it is the best color for the iroc, only found on 1988 models

 

I've seen a lot of the electric blue striped cars, all of them have been gun metal or black cars (with the black cars being far more common).

 

I got my iroc from my father he got it from the original owner who special order it

My car has the double light gray separate by body color with a red pinstripe in the top gray stripe and has the same red pinstripe on wheels

 

Sounds like dealer-installed stripes.

 

How can i find out that information.

 

There isn't any. From your description, they aren't factory installed. So if the original owner didn't put the stripes on, the dealer did for the original owner. If you want to replace them, you will have to match them up to universal type striping or have a local striping company duplicate them.
