I purchased a 2in amd cowl hood and was wondering how tall of an air cleaner I should buy. It will be going on top of a 355 w/ edlebrock air gap intake and a Holley 760 carb . Thanks for your input .

Not 100% apples to apples but friend of mine has a 2" cowl, air gap manifold and edelbrock 1405

He runs a K&N filter kit

Thanks for the info , I'm hoping to go taller then a 2.5 but that is a good starting point .

If your running the drop base, you should be able to fit a 4" without any problem.

one problem is the camaro engine isn't centered in the car.the air breather will hit the edge of the opening in the hood.or it did on my car.

I read that if I go with a 11in air cleaner it won't hit the hood . I'm prob gonna go with an 11x3 with the xtream lid and a flat base . Hopefully that will fit .
