Louver opinions

I am in the market to buy louvers for my 88 camaro. Would it be better to go with plastic or aluminum?

Re: Louver opinions

I'm guessing you are speaking of the louvers that are on the back hatch and not the louvers on the hood?

Re: Louver opinions

The wrap-around spoiler is that gigantic spoiler you see on the post 1985 firebirds. personally I would go with the oem, one piece, aluminum louver. but they are hard to find in good shape, and even harder to find the mounting hardware for them. I paid $300 for mine, and it needs some work. There is one on eBay right now that was painted red, and the current bid is $200. I would look into that.
