New Front Fender Emblem
New Front Fender Emblem
Before. The emblem GM put on the vehicle back in '89. As you can see... not in the best shape.
What stands in my way. This K&N Cold Air Intake must be removed before accessing the old part.
All cleaned out! Old emblem is gone.
New emblem, with everything where it should be. Her signature emblem is back again.
Any input/questions/feedback, let me hear it! Thanks for reading folks!

Just a little info on that intake.
IMO, that set up is the closest to a actual "cold air" intake you can get while still confined under the hood.
I have even seen them adapted for TBI.
Any way GM did an exhalent job when they designed it .

Oh yeah, I agree, I can't imagine anything aftermarket being any better than that. It's an excellent design. I've looked at the idea of nodding one for my tbi, but not sure if the choke down in air volume will be made up for enough in the temp difference. I would think an open element with a cowl or a scoop would be more efficient.
