Floor pan help needed
Hi everyone, new to this site so thought I'd give it a shot, I'm looking for some tips. Well I bought my 82 camaro base for $260 no motor or trans body is straight but the floorpans are iffy it seems like the water is coming maybe from the windshield from not being sealed right, but it started at the inner firewall? Not sure what to call it,what would be the best way to fix it?, maybe fab somthing up? It pretty much right under the dash? Don't know if im making sense not good with explaingin but ANY help will work.

Pull everything inside and check for rust. There is also seam sealer in the air intake in front of the window that can fall apart and let in water

Take the dash and interior out to check for rust on the upper foot area/firewall as well as the cowl. Also check the base of the wheel wheels where the water is let out from the cowl, that was a big area of rust on mine.

Well I took everything out besides the dash, the front driver side is shot and behind the clutch pedal and gas is rusted through, also noticed the vin is rusty as well, could that tell me anything? I'm not exactly sure how to remove the whole dash, my 91 rs was also rusted same exact way.
