changed 86 hatch glass to 87 got wire?

Engine: 383 with ds1 procharger
Transmission: 700r4
Axle/Gears: moser 9' 370's
changed 86 hatch glass to 87 got wire?
i changed my ugly 86 hatch glass to one with out the third brake light. my question is the wire that comes out of the hatch pulldown contact locate on the hatch. the wire went to the strip on the 86 glass to power the third brake light . where do i connect that wire now? to the defrost on drivers side that has power or the the defrost on pass side thats a ground or ? plz help[.

No Where.
You removed the light - right ?? You don't need the brake wire - right ?? Don't do anything with that brake wire. Leave it there and move on to the next mod !
P.S. My 84 had no 3rd light and I used an 87 Rear Spoiler 3rd brake light so I had to add wiring and PINS to the hatch contact pads to make it work.
