quick t-top headliner question

quick t-top headliner question

part of the fabric is coming off the backing board, right at where the seatbelt goes into. what kind of glue can i use to glue the fabric to the board again?

I use some high temp hot-glue, But that is kind of hard to find..

You could get some spray adhesive to re-adhere your headliner material. Other things that might work: Contact cement.

All of these are a little messy & best done with the headliner OUT of the car.

If your headliner is beginning to rot, then it might be time to replace the material. There is no other way, Wonce the foam starts going away, It will become increeasingly worse.

The quick test, push on any section of your headliner with your finger. If it does not leave a permanent dent then your material might be fine. BUT if you push on it with your finger & it stays dented for an extended period of time, then you may consider replacing it. The foam is breaking down.

I have paper clips holding it together. Not my doing. The kid i bought it off did it lol and I have yet to do anything about it.
