22 ga ok for floor?

Moving to a different province, car will need a safety and I know the floor won't pass (it also makes me nervous with the way it is and I'm changing seat mount stud locations for the rear studs to make bracket fab easier for my seats).

On the drivers side I'm replacing the entire section from the front seam basically where the firewall bends flat to the floor, and back to the front seat mount bracket, which I will also have to make a new one of I'm sure... Also doing inner rockers while I'm in there.

Is 22ga ok to use? I can likely use a bead roller at work to put some strength in to the flat metal.

The rear of both pans are ok, and the passenger side front just needs either surface treatment or a small patch... Plus pans are $300 US plus shipping and the Canadian loonie sucks at the moment.
