Fiberglass aerowing fitment
Hey guys, I'm getting ready to order a fiberglass spoiler. Has anyone bought one from showcars or joshs muscle car parts? Just wondering if the fitment issues were way off. I'm aware from reviews that some have been having issues with hawks recently and a few from classic as well. I'm trying to stay away from having to ship it back. Has anyone got one without the third brake light holes and made the third brake light fit. I'm thinking of getting one without it and letting my body guy make it when he paints the spoiler for me.

Do not buy from showcars. Everything they sell fits like garbage "IF" you ever even receive it.

Re: Fiberglass aerowing fitment
I have two of them and they fit perfectly. Now, don't get the idea they just drop on, you have to pull them a little bit outboard on the forward ends to line up at the attachment points but I am willing to bet that had to be done with the originals, too. Once you get them in place you'll see that whoever engineered them did a great job. All of us ought to be thankful that somebody took the time to recreate them.
Re: Fiberglass aerowing fitment
I got an oer one and the inserts for the bolts in back of the wing are not in the correct spot. They are located toward the outside of the wing and they need to be towards the inside edge to line up with the factory holes in the hatch. Also the wing came with 3 inserts for the brake light. We only need 2 and they don't line up with the brake light. It is too bad as the wing actually fit nice. Anyone else have issues with the oer one?
