t top rust question and opinions

Hey board! I need your expertise.
I knew I was going to have rust on my t tops, I just wasn't sure how much. Unfortunately I think the removable cross piece is shot, but the car frame seems okay. I took a wire wheel to it after I took pics and it cleaned up quick.
I don't want to spend 200$ on a new piece, but I may have to. Opinions and thoughts appreciated!

Commy red rust. Channels aren't super bad, but https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/body...-channels.html has new channels.

T-Top bar is shot and will have to be replaced. Look around, I got a super nice one from a Pull a Part type yard for $2.00 a few years back. Looks like you're going to have a lot of grinding to do on the car itself, and will also need to weld in some new channels. Pretty common on t-top cars.
