Side trim

Where do you buy that side trim that runs down the door and an inch on the fender and 1/4 panal? I have the thicker version not that black trim, its the kind painted body color

GM is the only source for the correct factory pieces. Be prepared, they aren't cheap.

I believe you will have to paint them. From the factory new they were molded in body color. Both of my 87's are solid yellow. But when you buy them from a dealer, I am pretty sure there all one color.

You might be better off going through the junk yards, bring a puddy knife & peal a few off.

The GM pieces should be available in the same color, but keep in mind some pieces probably arent available anymore. Keep in mind if you go searchign for used door edge guards, the finish oxidizes the same as paint, if they aren't waxed regularly the paint will wear off.
