Inner door panel cracked

I'm sure this is from the stress put on the door from rolling the window up and down over the years, but is it anything to worry about? Should I bother fixing or just leave it alone? Sorry, the pictures are kinda bad.

I'd form a piece of aluminum or steel sheet metal and JB Weld it. It will help keep it from getting worse. Good luck, Lon.

JBweld would just break the next cold day you use the window. Either leave it be and fix it later, or get it welded.

Should I bother to reinforce it with additional metal when I weld it? Thanks for the help!

I wouldn't think youd need to, but who konws.. it cant hurt.

Every thirdgen with power windows I've been in has flexing doors whent he windows go up. I've never seen a cracked door though... yet I havne't been looking for cracks either.

YES YES YES, a re-inforcement for strength will help...

I never do anything lke this without trying to make it stronger.

The drivers door on my blue Camaro has a crack on the inside near the front top. I forgot to have it welded when we did the paintjob, but it has been there for years and hasn't gotten any worse. Also my plastic panels at the tops of both my door panels have cracked in two at that same location, and have had to be replaced. I always assumed that it was from body flex associated with having t-tops.

The plastic trim panel on top the door panels on my car was cracked from top to bottom, about 3 inches from the back of the door, never figured that one out... Both sides, same spot...

i replaced them both..

Thanks for the help guys. The metal was too thin to weld, so I ended up pop-riviting a piece of metal in there to reinforce it.
