Inner door handles

Inner door handles

Quick question for you guys. to install the inner door handels on a 85 z does the whole door panel have to come off or just the arm rest and the plate for the handles??

It doesn't take much to take the rest of the door panel off once you already have the other stuff mentioned off the door. You may be able to do it without taking the door panel off, but it would be a heck of a lot easier to manipulate the rod that hooks to the handle with the door panel off.

Ok got the door panel off but how the hell do i take off the inner door handel? it looks like it's rivited on how would i go about takeing it off.

It is riveted in. You need to drill out the rivet, and either re-rivet (preferred) or bolt the new one back in.
