Sould I paint headlight buckets yellow to match car???

Engine: LB9....rebuilding coming soon
Transmission: rebuilt 700R4
Sould I paint headlight buckets yellow to match car???

I am getting some paint work done to perfect the body and am respraying the front end and was thinking of going all yellow,will it look good???

I think IROCs should leave the buckets black. Unless you are planning on modding your car more extensively, leave the body color ones to the RS's and modified cars. Besides, imho yellow is one of the colors that the black buckets look the best on.

I say keep the black too!!! It is just part of the IROC look. If you paint them yellow it will be just like any other Camaro. But the guy above said it best about it being your car.

I don't know how true that really is, My '87 SportCoupe V6 originally had grey headlight buckets (the car is black) but after the front end was written off the shop painted 'em black

Good point. All '86 sport coupes had gloss black buckets.
