How to Tighten Manual Windows

I have very loose manual windows. When I say "loose" ,I mean it takes a lot of turning of the window crank handle to roll the window up or down. Is there any way to tighten these so it's faster to crank up and down?

Some wd40 would help.Oil the thang up that should make things faster.
