wrecked my car what do I need??
I got into a car accident today and my front left fender is all smashed along with the nose I know they changed fenders some year and stuff so what year cars can I look for, for the parts in a junkyard? I have an 86 sport coupe I was thinking about adding some ground effects since I need a new nose and I could use a new rear bumper if so could I take the front nose and rear bumper from any year camaro and would I need to take off all of the ground effects brackets off to or could I buy new ones because I know they will probably be really rusty?
Thanks in advance everyone I appreciate it.

I'm getting my bodywork done too. I need a new nose, L fender, R fender, R GFX, R Quarter, L, Quarter, R door skin. (I know my dad ran down the left side bad and my right side had a little damage.) I'm looking at buying new parts from JC Whitney. There fenders for 82-92 Camaros are $49.99, under door GFX are $22.99. I diden't see any front bumper covers on there so i'm still looking.
Don't go with the shops parts. They want $258
for a new fender there and I think JC has free shipping right now. Regardless bring in your parts and save your cash.
BTW, Camaros from 82-92 have the same fenders the GFX changed in 91 and the bolt pattern is slightly differant I think (or was that 86?).
Anyone else know where to get parts?

Someone must make fiberglass fenders. I saw a Z28 a little while ago with them, they were all cracked tho fom the driver hitting the ditch or something
I would suggest looking in the junkyard for the parts you guys need. Look around there a little and you likely find the parts you need for next to nothing. Body panels from JC Whitney are likely to be very poor quality, they'll probably cause endless problems when it comes to aligning the panels. If you can find used GM panels, IMO that would be the way to go.
