RPO for my 1988

Paint code shows wa 9537.
The cars a late model year 88 sport coupe
But that paint code doesn't show up till 1989 90
The other RPO codes seem to match this car so I believe the console is original.

I want to repaint so need to make sure I order the correct blue.

Not sure what your source is, but the Camaro White Book shows code 23 Bright Blue as an available factory color for 1988, with 8,445 cars produced in that color. It also shows that same color and code being used from 1989-91.

The RPO label reads WA 9537
when I Google that paint code it shows later cars than 88

Re: RPO for my 1988

WA 9184 is bright blue in 88
code 23.

Maybe I'm just not understanding. I do apologise for my ignorance. Just bought the car and slowly learning what all the terms and codes mean.

Thanks for any help
I also interested in this white book you refer to.
I have old Chilton hard back books for Chevy trucks but haven't started buying any manuals for this era Camaro.
