Broken door handle
So ever since I got this car in 2013 the drivers side door has always been hard to open. Today the door handle broke on it. I have another handle ordered from hawks but is there anything else I should get too? And how hard is it to replace one of these?

Re: Broken door handle
Looks pretty straight forward , remove the door panel .Two nuts and the rod clip.

Re: Broken door handle
It goes without saying, but clean and lubricate the door latch mechanism. This is regular maintenance that should be done once a year, along with oiling the door hinges and bushings. Also take a look at why your door is so hard to open. Is the door sagging? If you lift up on the door while watching the hinge pins/bushings, can you see them moving around with lots of slop? Sometimes it can help to just give the door a pull upwards to tweak the hinges a little bit. They sag over time and the open end of the door will hang low enough to drag on the striker.
Just noticed the other day that the door latch on the passenger's side of my project car makes a squeek and doesn't pull smoothly. Looked in the door, and it looks like Johnny Sasquatch previous owner tried to slim jim his way in, and bent the ever lovin' bejesus out of the door handle rod.
