Front-End Swap

Can anyone tell me if you can successfully swap out the front-end (clip) of an 88 Firebird with that of an 84 or 85? I'm assuming it can be done but am not sure and was wondering if anyone on this forum has done that. Thanks.

Yup. Been done many times. At one point i acquired a 87 Formula that they put one 82-84 TA fender and nose on.

Yes you can even do Camaro on Bird and vice versa.

Thanks for the reply. A local body shop told me it couldn't be done but I thought they were wrong. My son will be very happy to hear this.
