84 Camaro Front End / Front Clip Swap to Newer style

I have an 84 camaro right now same one thats my avatar and sig, But I have an opportunity to buy the front end from an 86 camaro right now and its a newer style with different air vent in front and ground effects that go lower.

What is the compatability exactally with the front ends.
The front end on my 84 is just like the front end on
blyth18md's 1982 Chevrolet Camaro which is the red camaro under 1982 camaro pics on this websights home page.

I had an 89 unfortuantally when I started working on it I found a ton of cancer soooo I cut the t-top roof off and too the front clip and put it all on a 84 like yours. 500 dollars later and a nice project at tech school I had a rust free 89 rs again. So yes it is all direct bolt on and the ground effects I would do all the way around. If you are doing them up front personal preferance though. I am actually about to take a firebird someone wants to give me and build it into a full out drag car. Problem is it has a t-top roof so I have to find a hard top roof for it for structual needs. Funny how life works sometimes. lol have a good one with your project.

Sweet. What i needed to hear.
I dont think I would be able to do the ground effects all the way around however. I have some side exhaust that is Really close to the bottem of both sides of the camaro. It would get in the way.

Well if you want to get really unique. You could cut the slots in the ground effects and have bowtie tips or small rectangular tips that would look pretty sweet. Glad I could help.
