There is no factory fiberglass hood. There are some rare aluminum ones from early 80's. Only aftermarket fiberglass and ALL fit like crap.

i have a 1992 Z took hood off it was 71 lbs so far i have found cowl bolt on hoods at 35 lbs how much was your factory hood ?

There is a factory composite hood that came on the early cars, not exactly fiberglass but something similar. I have one and I don't have a number for you but I'd guess it's half the weight.Somebody else probably has the exact number.

wow how i luck out and get such a heavy hood i put it on scale at 71 lbs im trying to lose weight so any recomdations on a lighter bolt on hood thanks pS i like the 2" cowl ,,,..
