I have a spot on my hood that the clear coat has faded and pealed and is now beginning to rust. I can use navel jelly/sand paper to remove the rust but when I was looking for the factory paint I was confused about what color white my car is. My RPO label is long gone and every other thread I find keeps saying the white is WA 3967. Neither NAPA or Advance Auto carry a paint with that code. They simply have GM White, Olympic White or Arctic White. I know Arctic White is way too bright and didn't come until later years. Which leaves GM White or Olympic White. Is my car just simply white? I want to touch up my paint and prevent rust before I can afford to get my car professionally painted.
